I have lived in the Bow Valley near Canmore Alberta since 1989. Although I have always had an interest in photography, it was not until moving to the mountains that I actively pursued my passion of photographing wildlife and landscapes. I spend countless hours in the field searching for new material and waiting for the right conditions to capture dramatic images with my Pentax 6x7 Medium format camera and Arca Swiss 4 x 5 large format camera.

Some of my work has been featured on the covers of periodicals such as: Avenue West, Mountain Life and Canadian Geographic and have appeared in Explore magazine, MacLeans and GEO in Europe.

My images have also been used in coffee table books, calendars, maps, billboards, phone book covers and numerous advertisements, brochures and corporate reports.

First place category awards have been presented to me from: Banff Mountain Film Festival, Canadian Geographic magazine and the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.
